This morning we went to the movies!! We watched Hidden Figures whose characters have many things to do with the figure we are learning about, María Wonenburguer.

I liked the movie. My favourite thing about the movie was the theme.
ReplyDeleteThe similarities between María and the charactes of the movie are many, they were women and they lived in a time that the women didn' t have the same rights than the men.
The movie I liked much and I made reflect after see it. The similarity between Maria and the film any type of person has the same rights as other. The part that I liked most was when the astronaut, before taking off asks the chief that he won't fly if you don't have the certainty that calculations are well made by the protagonist.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the film. It was interesting. But what I liked the most was the meaning that the film whats to transmite because I think it is some important to learn. The similarities between María and the main characters is that they weren't known despite what they did, that they lived when woman's life was very difficult, that all of them are womans, that they were Mathematical, etc. And the differences is that the main characters of this film are now known for more people than María and the firsts are from another country that María. This is what I think.

ReplyDeleteI don´t have any favourite part,because I like it in general,but specially,where the N.A.S.A. buss trusted in Katherine for do the complicated calculations and when the engineer toll Mary that,she had to fight for her dream of be engineer.
The similarities between María W. and the main characters of this film are that María was an other genius,but the people didn´t discriminated her because her race,they didn´t know her name because she was a woman;and the film´s characters were discriminated because her sex,and because their skin color.
I love the film. It was very interesting aand it makes you reflect. My favourite part is when the protagonist gets angry in the office and shouting says everything that happens to him with the racism. The similarities between María and the charactes of the movie is they were women that lived in a time that the women didn' t have the same rights than the men.

ReplyDeleteThe similarities that exist between Maria Wonenburguer and the characters of Hidden Figures, is that they are mathematical, but that because they are women they do not have the same opportunities as the men. The difference is that the protagonists of Hidden Figures are people of color And, at that time, they were not well regarded by society.
I enjoy the film,in my opinion it was funny and educational.My favorite part of the movie was when Katherine went to the bathroom day after day until one day she exploded and said everything she thought about the division she had on the NASA with white and colored people. The similarities between María Wonenburguer and the main characters of Hidden Figures is that they all have a passion for mathematics but it wont be easy for them. The difference is that the protagonists of Hidden Figures film are descriminated by the color of their.

The similarities between María Wonenburguer and the main characters of Hidden Figures, are that Maria Wonenburguer didn´t give importance because she was a women as the womens of the film. And the differences are that María Wonenburguer was mathematical and she was white and the womens of the film worked in the N.A.S.A. and they were black.
ReplyDeleteIf I liked it a lot, because it explains very well what the rights of women were at that time.What I liked the most was that despite the differences between the different skin tones the women who have a darker tone are asserted and in the end end up being the same as the others.

And the differences are that Maria wonenburger discriminated against her for being a woman and in the film they discriminate because they are women and because they have a different skin color.
What you learn with this movie is that you do not have to discriminate against anybody, be it a boy or a girl or have a different skin color. We are all the same.
I really like the film.It teaching us how women and colored people lived in that age. The part that I liked the most was when Katherin arrived to there office and her boss asking her, where were you? And ILove her answer because she said old the truth and everybody staid quiet.The similarities about Maria and the characters of Hidden Figures wasbthat they loved the maths and they were so good in that but nobody said because there were women. ReplyDeleteWhat I liked best about this movie is that it explains very well the way they treated women and people of color at that time.
They all seem to have a great brain for mathematics and they have to fight hard to achieve their dreams.
They differ in that Maria Wonenburger only discriminated against her because she was a woman, because she was white; But to the ones of the film they discriminated them for being women and for being of color.
The film is about women of color who fight for their dreams, who are high positions at NASA and thanks to their great effort in the end they achieve them.
I really liked the film. The film theach us that we can rich our objetives with work and effort. It is simillar at María Wonenburger because she riched his objetives with work and effort like the three womans of the film. The differences are that the main characters of the film are black womans and in the past the black people aren´t respected like white people.

The similities between María and the main characters of the film is that they both aren´t accepted by the society. The difference is that the hidden figures aren't accepted because of the colour of their skin and María isn't accepted because of her gender.

I can't think about the movie because I did not see her but, I think that the similarities between maría and the movie are that in spite of what they did, they are not know. And that the woman un those times did not have the same rights that the men.

Katherin answer to a man "we aren't in the NASA because we are wering is skirt because we are wering glasses".
The similarities between Maria and Hidden Figures are the mats. The four are womans and did things when they had very dificult. And the four are hidden.
The difference are that Hidden Figures didn't accept for their gender and their colour and Maria only for was woman.

What I like most about the film is that women of color and women themselves struggle to get the same work as men.

ReplyDeleteI loved the movie. What I like the most is that it teaches how women's life was at that time when it was all very complicated because they could not do what they wanted. But in the film, the three protagonists, fight for their dreams despite all the problems that are presented to them.

The only difference is that the protagonists of the film are black women; At that time, black people did not have the same rights as white people and they also had to be separated. I think we are all the same, and that does not matter the color of our skin.
